Accurate welding data monitoring and cost-savings that count

Accurate welding data monitoring and cost-savings that count

When it comes to demanding welding tasks, quality matters more than quantity. Furthermore, the current standards – especially the norms applied to subsea welding – require that quality is constantly observed, measured, and reported. Without digital quality control systems, this task may prove to be overly costly and time-consuming. Kemppi’s WeldEye Quality Control is a universal software solution for verifying compliance of welding quality with welding procedure specifications. When integrated into the customer’s operating systems, WeldEye Quality Control brings considerable savings. Let’s listen to some user experiences from Norway.

A multi-process welding machine for challenging applications

A multi-process welding machine for challenging applications

A skilled and experienced welder can handle different kinds of material, welding applications and positions – even in demanding conditions. However, it is not only the skills that count – without appropriate high-quality welding equipment, excellent welds are only a dream. The performance of a welding machine also has a direct impact on the time spent on welding tasks. Significant cost-savings are only possible when work is done in minimal time with maximum results.

Kemppi's advanced welding processes: TIG and stick welding (MMA)

Kemppi's advanced welding processes: TIG and stick welding (MMA)

In TIG welding, process development has mainly focused on modifying the current modes in different situations. In practice, this means variations of pulse and AC welding, as well as ignition or tack welding. In the case of pulse welding, the welding machine user has numerous choices, as the adjustment possibilities for these process variations are highly versatile.
