Kemppi welding machines are made at our own production plant in Lahti, Finland. We produce the circuit boards for Kemppi welders in our electronics factory, which is one of the largest electronics factories in Finland. Next, we assemble our welding machines at the assembly factory located on the same premises, along with our headquarters. Close proximity to R&D allows flexible and reactive operations, and most importantly, the production of premium quality welding equipment.

Kemppi is a Finnish last name. You might also know Kemppi (Psylloidea) as a little bug that thrives near apples and carrots. And also, it's a name of a welding pioneer company, but you already knew that!

At the moment, Kemppi does not have an online store. You can purchase Kemppi welding equipment from authorized Kemppi dealers listed on our map search. Kemppi's operating manuals can be found from Userdoc. In addition, Userdoc includes declarations of conformity and other user documentation. Documents are available in several languages.

For offline use and office printing purposes, the operating manuals for our current product selection as well as older ramped-down models are available as downloadable PDF files. However, the operating manuals for our most recent product launches are also always published in a conveniently accessible online format (html) that supports both desktop and mobile browsers.

Kemppi welding equipment is designed and tested for professional industrial environments. As a guarantee of high quality, we offer our customers a global warranty up to three years.

After finalizing the warranty registration within two months from the date of purchase, the 3-year warranty period is valid for power sources, wire feeders, and cooling units in all product families, excluding control panels, HAX welding machines, and mechanized welding equipment. X5 FastMig power sources are qualified for a 5-year warranty after registration.

The warranty period for auto-darkening welding filters (ADF), powered air-purifying respirators (PAPR), and air regulation valves is two years. For all batteries and chargers, the warranty period is 12 months.

The maximum warranty period for GXe welding torches is six (6) months.

The Warranty does NOT cover the following products: Welding face shields, gloves, workwear, welding torches' and guns' consumable parts, remote controls, cables, wire feed unit feed rolls, and guide tubes.

The third warranty year is not applicable if the product is leased to third parties.

In order to complete the warranty registration form, you will need the serial number and security code of your equipment. Both can be found in the rating plate on the back or inside of your equipment, or the RFID packaging label.

The Kemppi warranty covers both spare parts and determined labor provision provided by an authorized Kemppi service supplier.

From 2020 beginning, the production year of a welding machine has been marked in the nameplate. Unfortunately, from an older machine, users can't see this information.

Welding machines that support the screen saver image feature are X5 FastMig, Master M 358, MasterTig, and Master 315.

You can add the screen saver image to your welding machine with the following steps:

1. Go to https://screensaver.cloud.kemppi.com/ and upload your image from your computer. The supported image formats are .jpg, .png, and .gif.

2. Following the on-screen instructions, upload, edit, and download the new screen saver image onto a USB memory stick.

3. Connect the USB memory stick to your welding machine's USB connector. The control panel detects the stick automatically and shows a list of available images.

4. Follow the on-screen instructions, and use the control panel controls to select the image on the USB memory stick you want to use as a screen saver.
